Should I Be Concerned About Rise In My BP From 97/46 To 98/58?
Hi. I am 77, my bp usually runs slightly high so am on Losartan. Last time I took it was around 6 p.m. yesterday. it is now 7 P.m., I have not yet taken my Losartan and my bp is running 97/46 to 98/58 with heart rate of 68. Should I be concerned about thiis
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your blood pressure values are a little low.
Dehydration could be the reason of this drop in blood pressure values.
For this reason, especially if you are experiencing fatigue, dizziness or lightheadedness, I would recommend stopping Losartan as long as your blood pressure will be low.
Increasing salt and fluids is necessary too!
