Should I Be Concerned About Mild Headaches Especially In The Morning?

Been waking up for 3 days now with minor headaches which get worse during the day. This morning however I woke up with a headache and fatigue. Feels like i want to sleep but closing eyes makes the headache worse. Also noticed tingling and aching in my left arm thats been getting stronger in the past hour. I am wondering if I should be concerned and see my doctor?

Hi,

First of all, you should measure your blood pressure. If it were high you should receive a medical treatment, take aspirin 160 mg twice per day after meals, decrease salt and fat intake, do Lipid profile in the blood and do an ECG and an ECHO on your heart. If you are a woman taking oral contraceptive pills or a hormonal replacement therapy, you should ask a gynecologist for help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
