Should Clopidogrel Be Disposed After Three Years From The Manufacturing Date?

I had a brain bleed stroke in 2006 and a heart attack in 2012 (given stents). I found two prescription bottles of Clopidogrel (from 2013) which I must have stopped taking because the pills caused bruising and bleeding. I’m taking Lisinopril and Simvastatin currently. Should I throws away the clopidogrel?

Hello,

If the expiry date is over means you may throw it in medical waste management bin If still date is there means you may return to the medical shop from which you purchased.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
