Severe Cramps, Diarrhea, Nausea After Having Peanut Butter. Is That The Cause?

I have always eaten sandwiches containing peanut butter throughout my life. It has never bothered me until the past couple of years. If I eat a sandwich containing peanut butter I get serve cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. It does not happen with peanuts but only peanut butter no matter the brand I buy. What is causing it?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this. Processing takes beyond the natural product to some other additives. If all the brands produce the same effect, then there should be one of the ingredients that you are allergic or intolerant to. It has been consistent and reproducible over the years with the same product. For sure this ids the problem and looking elsewhere is uncalled for. TRy to stay away from this if the effects cannot be tolerated by you.

I hope this helps and I wish you well.
