Several Weeks Ago, My Husband Developed A Severe Rash Which

Several weeks ago, my husband developed a severe rash which spread all over his body before he was able to see a dermatologist. She believes it is scabies. The doctor prescribed Prednisone for my husband and he rubbed on Kwellada. His skin seems to be improving but the itch is unbelievable! (Meanwhile, I have developed several spots on my body, that are unbelievably itchy - the itch is so bad, it wakes you up at night!!) I also rubbed on Kwellada 5 days ago. I am wondering - how do you know if this bug has gone away? I read that it could take weeks before the itch goes away. I wash all of the bed clothes every day and vacuum everyday. But, how do I know if I have been re-infected? My itch is so bad during the day, also, and I am the one who does the cleaning of everything. I will re-apply the Kwellada in 7-10 days. ...
