Seeing A Neurologist For The First Time In My Life.

Seeing a Neurologist for the first time in my life. I am 52. Started getting symptoms in mid 30s but no one would take me seriously... NOw after 1st MRI it was discovered I have a small black spot in the center of my pons. I have become progressively worse with short term memory and long term now too. Schedule for another MRI with dye injection soon. I have also been diagnosed by my doctor for having Spacicity. Involuntary movement of limbs, hyper reflexes. Is there any relationship to Alzheimer's with the pons? My father passed away this yr from that disease. Is there any cure? I suffered 3 severe blows to my head at ages 7, 8 and 12.
