Repeated Sinus Infection, Blockage After Head Injury, Lacerations. Tongue Stuck To Roof Of Mouth. Operation Can Correct It?

Following a wreck in "08", in which I believe I hit my head, and it was hit by objects flying through the air. (I had head pain and several lacerations. I blacked out momentarily. I have had repeated sinus infections and almost continual sinus blockage. I am treated about every 6 weeks for this or bronchitis. I am told that one nostril is smaller and that the division in my nose is slanted. I get very dry in the winter and I have to use a Neti-pot to rinse my nasal passages nearly every day. I wake with a cotton dry mouth and my tougue is stuck to the roof of my mouth. Can an operation correct this, and if so, what is it called. Thank you and God Bless.

Hello,

Dry mouth as well as tongue stuck to roof of mouth may be due to-decreased salivary flow.

Plenty of water as well as fruits has to be administered.

Salivary substitutes has to be administered if required.

Also evaluate any other systemic disorder associated causing dry mouth.

Regarding sinus infection, please do visit an E NT Specialist.

Spicy, allergic foods has to be avoided.

I wish you good health.
