Hi,

It is post herpetic neuralgia.

It is very painful and frustrating condition. I can understand your concern for severe and unbearable pain she suffers . If your doctor would have given a course of oral steroid when the disease occured along with antiviral treatment, this situation would not be there. Anyways, now that time is over. Now she should take amytriptilin with pregabline tablet once daily for the few months continuously after reconsulting your dermatologist.

Keep the mind engaged in other activities. Be positive and remain relaxed. I am sure you will get benefit.
