Reason For Flappy Skin In Back Of Child's Mouth?

Just curious. My 6 year old complained of feeling flappy skin in the black of her mouth. When I looked it almost looked like a soft tooth! It was in line with her other teeth and as white as a tooth. But when I felt it, it felt like hanging skin. Is this some sort of oral infection? If not, what is it? Thank you in advance.

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, as you have mentioned that your chlid have white flappy skin at back of her mouth , see your child is now 6 year old it is time of first permanent molar to eruput may be it is swollen gum, due to coming of permanent teeth in oral cavity,
For this you can consult dentist and go for local examination if needed go for IOPA X - ray for confirmation of Eruption of permanent tooth.
Hope this will help you.
Wishing her good health
