Reason For Dizziness During Bending And Coming Up?

For the past week I have noticed periods of dizziness when bending down and coming up to an upright position. The problem usually lasts anywhere from a minute to a few. I grab onto anything to keep me in an upright position until it subsides. I have tenitis and it is necessary to have my ears cleaned every three months since my canals are small and I build up significant wax buildup.

You have classic symptoms of what is known as BENIGN PAROXYSMAL POSITIONAL VERTIGO (BPPS), however, because of the tinnitus you say is also present another consideration to think about if not BPPV and especially if you may have a headache that comes before or after these episodes (up to 24 hrs. one way or the other) would be something called VESTIBULAR MIGRAINE. It is common and often missed since the vertigo and other symptoms often are separated from the headache. I am a headache specialist and see many cases such as this as well as straight up BPPV.
