Painless hematuria with frequent episodes of UTI at the age of 66 years can be due to one of the following reasons 1) Infection 2) Mass lesion either in kidney or bladder and need to be investigated in detail to trace out the cause and source of of bleeding . You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis 3) C.T scan of abdomen (KUB) plain and with contrast Further more investigations if required and treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
