Quadriplegic. Malignant Sore To Be Removed. Needs To Be Sedated. Suggestion?
My brother almost lost his life to MRSA a year ago, now a quadriplegic. He needs a malignant sore removed, they tried a local but too risky, told him he will have to be sedated. His doctor at the VA hospital has a surgery on hold at the moment (on his hand) until they check his heart. He is meeting with the surgeon tomorrow evening and I am very concerned about the risk and would rather he try to get this done at Loma Linda instead of our local hospital (where he contacted the MRSA previously) Any suggestions?
Hi, he had M.R.S.A,an year ago does not mean that he will have it again, The sanitary equipments and every thing are improving day by day. New drugs like anthracin are evolving day by day against the M.R.S.A. The selection of the hospital depending upon the facilities etc in that hospital depends upon the individual selection. Thank you.
