Pregnant, have continuous sharp pains in the lower abdomen after lifting heavy object, prominent on deep breathing. Alarming?

I am about 13 weeks pregnant. I picked up my 33 pound 2 1/2 year old last night to take her to bed. As soon as I stood up with her, I felt a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen . Ever since then, I have been having pain in the same spot. The pain is not constant - it just happens whenever I move a certain way, cough , or even take a very deep breath. Could I just have strained a muscle or the round ligament , or could this be a sign of a more serious problem?

Hi, Thanks for query.
It seems that you have got abdominal muscle strain as it occurs when there is movement of that particular muscle.
Nothing to worry, within 2-3 days it will be alright.
now do not lift weight or your baby.
Ok and bye.
