Please describe below two terms:
Pancreas appears atrophic with complete interval resolution noted in the previously seen minimally FDG avid well defined hypodense mass lesion in the head of pancreas.
The liver is enlarged in size (19.6 cms in CC) with mild diffuse fatty infiltration. A non FDG avid tiny hypodense lesion is seen in segment VI, showing significant interval reduction in size, now measuring ~ 4 x 4 mm in size. The intra hepatic biliary radicals are not dilated. The portal vein is normal.

i have been diagnosed with primary liver cancer one year ago; has been ablated twice but recurred for third time 3/21/18; also now appearing was two cm lymph node which was biopsied and report says it is a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. I am being referred for chemo treatment plan. I also have cirrhosis. 2 questions; Shouldn t surgical removal of lymph node be considered first ? Should I have a pancreas scan right away? Bob
I was looking for foods that would cleanse my pancreas. I got a list of foods and herbs. On it was horsetail. When I looked it up it said it could be damaging it used long term. So what its too long? And does it really regenerate your pancreas? How long does it take
6+ months ago, i was hospitalized for an inflamed pancreas. The doctor termed it as it looked like someone threw a grenade in there from the scan they took. I ve changed my diet but i want to take some supplements to help my pancreas make the enzymes it s supposed to. An online doctor mentioned Creon but i wanted another opinion and someone told me to come here. I do not want to go back to the hospital, for any reason, and the diet guide they gave me was vague (to say the least). Could you also comment on that?
