Single pimple lasting more than 6 months is unusual. You might be having acne cyst or sebaceous cyst.consult a dermatologist for diagnoses and if is cystic acne, the doctor might treat it with Intralesional steroid injection or sebaceous cyst the doctor might remove it intoto surgically.
