Pain In My R Groin Several Months. Pain Increasing. No

Pain in my R groin several months. Pain increasing. No pain with forward and backward movement but yes on lateral or abduction. X-ray showed arthritis but this is sharp burning pain specific to that spot and no other. PT Eval ordered and therapist suspects a LABRUM TEAR but yesterday first day of therapy caused increase in pain. Could it be something else or therapy just aggravated it? And if so, what next?
