Pain In Left Side Of Chest And It Hurts To Take Breath
Hello, My name is Julian, i am 22 years old, I have pain in my left side of my chest and under my armpit still.. I went for an ECG to check my heart and had a blood test for blood clots and even an x-ray of my chest for something else not sure what they were looking for and they found nothing, they told me its a pulled muscle under my rib cage but i have not been active in sports or have no hard labour for a while they told me to take ibuprofen 600mg and i had the pain again today so i took them and the pain is still not gone ? it still hurts when i breath in past mid way... could it still be that \
Hi Julian. Thank you for your question. If I were you I would not be too worried at this stage. After all the doctors have done all the tests, and to be quite honest with you, you are too young to have anything wrong with your heart of lungs.
No, this sounds like exactly as they said -- strained muscle or a bruised rib. You will be fine in a few days time. Good luck!

*..could it still be that pulled muscle that they said it was?
