On Copper Coil, Pregnancy Tests Negative. Having Pain, Slight Dark Discharge. Could Still Be Pregnant ?

Hello doctor. I have the copper coil and my last period was the 8th of May every pregnancy test has been negative I'm feeling sick through out the day I through I was going to come on yesterday as was getting pain and got a dark discharge like the end of a period but notting could I still be pregnant with a negative reading. Really confused.

Hi,
In the current scenario, you should visit your consultant for a complete evaluation and get a trans-vaginal sonogram. It is likely that you could be having some breakthrough bleeding and a cycle disturbance. Pregnancy test would show up positive had you conceived. You may be having some transient hormonal disturbance that could be corrected. Hope this helps. Take care.
