Older lady close to 80 had surgery several weeks ago. She was doing well, even driving. One week ago while out, her bottom lip swelled severly. Went to doctor diagnosed as either a bite of some kind or a lip fungus. Given antibiotics. Lip continues to swell to point of busting open with extreme bleeding. She has been in hospital for seven days. Some with blood count should be 16 was 8.2 when admitted, now 1point something. Very weak. Was then told maybe blood cancer, now maybe medicine she has been on for long time for skin problem. Very concerned.
