Ok I am recovering from throat cancer caused by HPV. My last treatment of 35 doses of radiation was December 11, 2017, and now it is May 11, 2018. Around early March I was finally able to start eating some real foods by mouth. I still have a feeding tube to supplement. That's when I first started to notice a burning sensation when I had bowel movement. I first thought it was due to horseradish in my cocktail sauce for boiled shrimp that night. But it has continued. At that time I also had a hemorrhoid showup, then followed by a second one. Those have gone but the pain remains, but only after I poop. Also my stool which is more solid now due to more "real" foods, seems constricted to about the size on my little finger. Before, when I was getting all of my meals by feeding tube is was just liquid and did not hurt at all. I have been taking a stool softner pretty much everyday, Applying hemorrhoid cream and balmex to try to ease the burning. The next day it goes away, until I have the next bowel movement. No blood since the hemmorrhoids dissapeared, just the burning pain.
