Need Medication For Loose Motion & Indigestion

My 4 yr old son was suffering from loose motions and indigestion since last tuesday. On Sat took him to the doc who prescribed Bifilac before meals and Diof DS after meals twice a day along with regular administration of Pedialyte. His loose motions and indigestion has stopped now. Yesterday he passed normal motions. Can we stop the medications now?

Noted the history about your 4 year old son suffering from loose motions and indigestion since last Tuesday. Was prescribed Bifilac and Diof DS, Pedialyte, loose motions and indigestion stopped, wants to know whether to stop medications.
Not yes, the full course of 5 to 7 days should be given to get a curative treatment.
Also it is important to find out the cause of loose stools, whether stale food, outside foods and beverages as the son is only 4 years old, the chances of recurrence is always there.
