Need Help With Deciding On Best Diabetes Control Medicine

hi, I am nischay(engineer) .My grandmother has been prescribed with GLYCOMET GP 3/850 for diabetis control by a doctor 4 months back. Yesterday again she went for regular checkups and prescribed with MEGAVOG 0.3.(diabetis control tablet). Now she is confused which one to take. so,Can anyone please suggest me with this problem?

Dear Nischay,
Megavog 0.3mg is mostly an add on to your glycomet gp3/850. The most logical explanation is that your grandma's blood sugars are being managed using glycometgp3/850mg. To get a better post prandial control the doctor would have added megavog 0.3 (voglibose) to be taken just at the starting of meal. This will help her get better control on your post prandial values. So the answer is she has to take both..
