Nausea And Dizziness With Sore Dent In Temple Due To Smashed Forehead. Is This Serious?

smashed my forehead with my van trunk door last week, I didn't lose concessness, but did lay in the driveway seeing stars, I expected the headache, bump, tenderness, dizziness, nausea. However a week later I'm still naueated and dizzy. And have a dent above my eyebrow to my right temple. It's extremely sore should I have it looked at?

Welcome to HCM!

It would be intelligent to get the injury examined by a doctor, preffrably a neurologist. You may require a CAT Scan head/ MRI to rule out any soft tissue injury in brain.

You can take some pain killers along with antacid and antiemetic, like : Omeprazole with domperidone combination twice a day before meals.
Also, avoid any kind of sedatives or alcohol till you see a doctor ( these may harm you ) . I think you should also get your blood pressure checked.

Rest treatment can be given only after examining you.

please do see a doctor, it should not be anything very serious ( as you are able to carry on with your work normally / and there is no movement problem) but still there are symptoms plus a dent at that site behind needs early assessment.

Hope the reply is useful
