My wife's Doctor took her off of Tramadol for her arthritic pain in her knees, back, shoulder, hip and hands. She was NOT addicted to the opioid pain med as too many other people are. She needed 5 Tramadol a day for her pain, however several times because of weather changes and high humidity, she needed to take more thus running out of meds before she could get them refilled. Her Doctor said she was addicted to them and stopped her prescription for tramadol. She can only take over- the-counter pain pills and they are not doing her any good. IS THERE ANY non-opioid prescription pain med more powerful than Tylanol, Aleve, etc.???
