My Wife Was Admitted Into A Local Hospital After Having

My wife was admitted into a local hospital after having a seizure while out with her father and our daughter. She was taking Lexipro but went off of it about 2 weeks ago. Prior to being taken to the hospital she was becoming increasingly nervous about a mass war and death in general of her loved ones and was convinced she had to endure pain during seizures to ensure our safety. She also complained about being hungry all the time and not having energy to do much. She also has throbbing pain from time to time in her joints and is always cold. She is very health oriented and eats properly but always needs more food to sustain her. The doctors at the hospital seem to think she has bipolar disease and want to medicate her but after doing some research on the disease I do not think she has bipolar disease. She has involuntary spasms and certain words make her sing songs and she writes with her fingers on the table when I visit her. Any ideas on what could be wrong besides bipolar disease?
