My wife told me her doctor says, after smear test, she has C1N1. And the doctor ask her to go back to do another smear after three months, then another three months. My understanding is that CIN1 is Cervical dysplasia, what Cervical dysplasia refers to the presence of precancerous changes of the cells that make up the surface of the cervix, the opening to the womb (uterus).

What should I do at this stage? Any recommended treatment needed? I have no clue what it is and just seeing the word "precancerous" already put me on full alert.
