My Wife Had A Colonoscopy And The Results Were Perfect.

My wife had a colonoscopy and the results were perfect. However, the next day she had pain in her buttocks down her right leg to her foot. It was confirmed by a surgeon that it was sciatica. The doctor's staff who performed the colonoscopy said it was a coincidence that that the pain started the day after the procedure. Can something like this be a result of a colonoscopy?
