My Tongue Is Burning And Swollen. Underlying Cause?

I woke up earlier this morning around 6am to eat breakfast. I had cereal with organic soy milk. I don t ever use soy milk for cereal. My tongue started burning for about 5 minutes then went away. I went back to sleep and woke up a couple hours later and notice underneath my tongue is swollen. It s not painful, just uncomfortable. What could it be. This is the 1st time it ever happen.

Hi,

The swelling of tongue may be due to soya milk. It may sort of allergy. It may be reduced gradually. You may take antihistaminics like bilastine 20 mg daily for few days. Avoid suspected food stuff.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
