My son was diagnosed with ADD when he was 5 years old and took focolin xr 20 mg until 2012 and then we had to switch to concerta 36 mg because his insurance no longer covered the focolin. Just this past october 2017 he turned 17 and had thoughts of running away and was successful and has been in 3 different behavorial hospitals in the last 5 months and has been diagnosed with anxiety disorder, poor impulse control, odd and add. He is currently on the following medicarions triteptal, zyprexa and tenex. and these were prescribed by physicatrists in the behavioral hospitals and took him off of his focalin. His pedictrtrian wants to put him on dyanavel xr 2.5 ml, which I gave him this morning, but am not happy with the side effects what should I do. I don't want to continue this medicine, because my son has not talked about running away for three weeks and I do so want to keep him home.
