Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is in hospital and they are wanting to do a bone biopsy on him because he has - how do I say it, more white blood cells. He had just got through taking a 10 day treatment of sodium bicarbonate. Can't that trigger a wrong reading? He also has a compound fracture in his vertibrae and a fractured rib. They think his bones are brittle caused by cancer. The fact is he has fell a couple of times but did not go to the doctor. Any information will be helpful. Thanks
