My physician has had me on Demerol 50 mg. with 25 mg. Promethazine for 30 years and I have never had any side effects whatsoever. My physician closed his practice in August 2015 to go into urgent care and I have no one to write the medication and am scared of what I might experience when I use all that I have from my last prescription. I have never doctor shopped and have always taken the medication exactly like it was prescribed. I was in a car accident in the 70's with major injuries and have arthritis, migraines and fibromyalgia. I was tried on several other meds before being given this. Where can I get a physician to write this medication or tell me how to taper off of it before I run out of it. I am so worried about what to do.
