My numbers for my AIC need to go down with continued exercise and diet control. They did improve this time they are coming down from 7.9 AIC to 7.3 AIC (has gone in the past from 6.9 - 8.0) but not in the range my doctor wants to see which is 6.0 and below. I have been diabetic/pre-diabetic for about six years now. My doctor is talking about putting me on more meds or insiline (misspelled). I am not happy with my results and do not want more meds or anything stronger. What to do?
