My mother is on cipro and remeron. She started the cipro and remeron about the same time two days ago. This evening she is experiencing dizziness, and her speech is slurred. The nurse at the nursing home has checked her blood pressure and it is normal. They are also checking her every two hours. Is there an interaction taking place here that requires more immediate action? Mom is 96.
