My Mother Is 80 Years Old, Lives Alone, And In

My mother is 80 years old, lives alone, and in generally good health. She has just started on thyroid meds and has been on them for about 1 month now. She has a constant drainage of her right ear at night and she can get very tired after not doing much. The MD says he sees nothing wrong with her ear and she gets very frustrated when she has a "spell" of fatigue and dizziness which lasts about 1 to 2 days. It is usually a month or two between her "spells". Do you have any idea where we would start to get her symptoms looked into?
