My Mother (82) Fell (accident) And Hurt Her Back (severe

My mother (82) fell (accident) and hurt her back (severe pain) and was hospitalized. As they were monitoring her theysaw something in an EKG that alarmed them so she is being given a test (cardiogram). Apparently, her heart rate is dropping to 30 and then popping back up again. This is second hand info as I live in California and she is in Washington State. Your thoughts?

She has no history of heart issues...no disease other than low thyroid....and has always had a history of low blood pressure (as does my sister).
