My Husband Went To The Emergency Room Beginning Of November

My husband went to the Emergency Room beginning of November with severe pain. After Ultrasound and Xray was thought to have had a bowel obstruction and colitis. Took 2 enemas and 1 suppository to give him relief. We were sent to GI Dr for more tests (colonoscopy and scope down through throat. He had a MR Enterography a couple of weeks ago. Thought Crohn's, thought Colitis. Not sure. What does a mildly enlarged periportal lymph node measuring 18 x 13 mm mean? Next Colon surgeon wants to do a barium enema. Is this proper procedure to find out what is wrong?
