My husband was sick before he left on a week long trip. Friday night he had the chills and took a long time to warm up. He took a dose of NyQuil. Saturday he spent almost 24 hours sitting up in a lounge chair sleeping. I had to wake he up throughout the day and night to drink water and take DayQuil. Sunday was the same until about 1 pm. At that point he was more aware of what was going on. A couple of hours later he was able to take a shower and then spent more time sleeping upright in the chair. After that he starting moving around more and doing things to get ready for his trip, I think it was around 11 pm when he had a piece of lasagna, the first thing he had eaten since dinner on Friday night. He was able to drive to the location of the bus pickup and had some juice before leaving and took some juice to have on the way. I've just had a text from a friend saying the he isn't eating much, the water isn't up to his standards, his left left is swollen and inflamed so he was going to ice it. We live in Buffalo, NY and he is in Michigan and won't be home until Sunday 8/9/15. What can I have him do?
