My Husband Was Diagnosed With Acute Myeloid Leukemia Two Months

My husband was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia two months ago and has just finished a week of chemo (injections) as an inpatient. Two months ago he was admitted but couldn't finish the chemo due to cardiac etc issues. that's why he is now getting a different chemo which they admitted him for to monitor his heart etc. Now he's home and doing well. Before all this, he was taking metformin. But metformin is hard on the kidneys so they stopped it and told him he would be OK as long as his sugar remained under 200. It's late in the day now and his count before dinner was 201. Not sure if we should contact a physician tonight? He has a follow up with the cancer doctor tomorrow.
