Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband sleeps a great deal. He can sleep for 9 hours at night and then sleeps several hours while sitting in a chair. Most days he can't get past the first page of the newspaper. He is 74 years old. Had a mild stroke 3 years ago with no obvious consequences. We know his Heart Scan calcium score is high but his internist isn't too concerned about it. I am wondering if he should be seeing a cardiologist along with his internist.
