My husband is 63, 5'9 and weighs 200 lbs. He has been complaining of headaches, dull and achy, being tired all the time, sleeping for 12-15 hours a night and some rectal bleeding. He has seen our MD, who basically blames our age. He was very active before retirement 8 years ago. He is on thyroid medication, blood pressure meds and Lipitor. He has seen the gastroentrologist and was told the bleeding is from an external hemmorroid. He was anemic RBC under 7 and they said they were going to transfuse him about 2 years ago. His numbers have increased and are now at a normal level. I am not too sure what to do next for him. Any ideas?
