My Husband Has Had A Lower Eye Twitch Now For

My husband has had a lower eye twitch now for 8 months that started infrequently but has gotten progressively steady. It Is now constant and he doesn't sleep well at night. I know he is very fatigued. He can fall asleep quickly but wakes at 2-3 a.m. every morning and tosses and turns for 2-3 hours before his alarm goes off. He is 43. Just concerned and wondering if this can be a sign of high blood pressure or even lead to a stroke?
