My Husband Has Been An Addict For Over 30 Years.

My husband has been an addict for over 30 years. He has relapses. His drugs were any kind of opioids and heroin. He has been on the methadone maintenance program for 2 1/2 years and doing well. The past 2 months he has been acting weird. Nodding out, slowed speech, angry outbursts sometimes when you confront him, memory loss, just doesn't have the glow in his face. He is just not himself. We were the store earlier and he would stand by the cart and nod off. I have confronted him and asked if he is doing some kind of drugs or drinking and he insists no. I have been dealing with his addiction of 23 years. I know when his is doing something he says he tired and doesn't sleep well. He has lost a lot of weight. All he eats is sweets. Am I just imagining things or could he be using something. My gut says e is doing something.
