My heart is pounding really fast. Should I go check it out with a doctor?
Well for over a month during the day my heart will start pounding really fast. Its not when I'm exercising or nervous. I'm just sitting or walking and it will pound really fast. I hate worrying my dad about going to the doctor if its not an emergency or anything. I'm 16. I'm not nervous I'm a very joyful person so I have no ideas been going on for 1 month

Dear concerned: your dad loves you. You should ask him to take you to the doctors. It's better safe than sorry, it's your beautiful life. Best wishes

I have had a stress test to check my heart and another test that takes pictures before and after the test. The doctor said everything was ok. I also wore a heart monitor for 4 weeks with a couple of events recorded. The problem before the test was, my heart was pounding out of my chest when I would walk fast. Not every time but enough for me to worry [about a week and a half]. Now I m back on night shift and my heart felt like it was skipping a beat when I went to bed. My question is, should I go back to the doctor or just chalk it up to fatigue?

I have been experiencing blood pressure readings which vary from high to low, meaning 98/54 to 140/91 and varying heart rates, both irregular and regular at times, meaning 53 to 112 and I have also begun to experience diarrhea with chest pressure and pain that comes and goes. I can feel the heart beats, both at times slow and fast with some episodes of it feeling as if it beats out of my chest, meaning you can see it moving my clothing in my chest area. This all happens at rest. I have lost weight during the past 5 months that was a total of 38 pounds within a months time back in march. I have multiple heart conditions; neurocardiogenic syncope, arrhythmia, tachycardia and mitral valve prolapse. When do I need to go the hospital to be checked out? At the onset of the episode the only way to describe what I hear is the sound an old television set makes when it warms s a fuzzy sound in both ears. This morning I also had sweating on one side of my body; my left side. What should I do? and What should I tell my new cardiologist that I am seeing on Friday morning? Thank you for your help and guidance.
