My heart feels kind of irregular especially when lying down

is this normal? Ive been checking my pulse and it doesn t seem to be in a constant rhythm all the time, i guess what i mean is that the spacing between each beat isnt always even and sometimes it seems to take a while to beat. I seem fit and healthy as I exercise regularly and eat reasonably well. Im only 23 btw. Does this warrent a visit to the docs? Thanks in advance for your input

An irregular heartbeat can be caused by multiple things, from anxiety to heart arrhythmia's. You should probably get to a doctor and figure out what's causing it.

This is the second time in a row that I ve had this fluttering sensation with my heart. It lasted several hours yesterday (happeneing about every 30 seconds) and now it has continued today at various intervals. It has been going on for a few hours now tonight. Is this dangerous? If I place my hand over my heart and push down to get a better feel, I eventually feel my heart skip a beat. I heard from my parents that when I was born I had an irregular heart beat but that went away and I was released from the hospitol. I ve told my parents about it but they think it is nothing. Can this redevelop and is this soemthing I should worry about? It is also not caused by caffine. I have several cups of tea daily and never had flutters this frequent. Just to check I cut the caffine intake today and I ve had no change at all. And another seems to stop completely when I lie down but when I sit up/stand it starts again. Some more things - I m 17 and weight about 135 lbs. I have been eating this chocolate orange the last 2 days and it seems it happens after I eat that. I eat chocolate all the time so I don t know what is in it to cause it.

What kind of medication would you recommend to help a person with heart irregularity? A person I am talking about has a problem of irregular heart beating. The pulse is quite strong, but there is a strong uneveness of the time between the beats (because of which the heart stabilizer was installed and used). After its installation the pulse became less strong and quite even, but the strenghth of pulse became a little uneven. My question is: what kind of medication, if any would you recommend to improve functioning of the heart? Thanks very much in advance! There were conduction problems, which were leading to irregularities I mentioned above. This person had emotional shocks in the past, which had caused heart abnormalities. This person suspectedly had several heart attacks, one of which led to a clinical death. When this happened, this person was reanimated (10 minutes after the heart stopped). When I talk about improving functioning of the heart , I mean optimization of its work so that person feels good. The installed pacemaker is an atrioventricular one. The person suffers from the pace slowering.
