My heart doctor just prescribed 25 mgs of Spironolactone.
My family physician has me taking 25 mg of Triamterene -- a different diuretic that is not keeping the fluid off my ankles & feet anymore.
My blood pressure is being controlled by the Triamerene (sp?), but i'm losing too
much potassium.
Do you recommend i follow my heart doc's opinion to change to Spironolactone?
