My Fiancé Has Been Experiencing A Loss Of Appetite, But

My fiancé has been experiencing a loss of appetite, but when he does eat a meal, he often says he feels bloated and then gets nauseated and vomits later. I would expect him to lose weight, but I don't think he looks like he is losing weight---I actually think his stomach looks bigger. He is 59 years old, retired (but works part time), and generally in good health (takes medication for high BP). He has a history of depression/anxiety and bouts of drinking. I don't know if he is just in a holiday funk, or if there could be a physical cause for the symptoms. Your opinion would be much appreciated! jennifer
