My doctor prescribed amlodipine 10MG and perindopril erbumine 8MG for high blood pressure. I have completely changed my lifestyle and eat a Mediterranean diet. This includes a lot of potassium rich foods including bananas, spinach, salmon, etc. The perindopril says I should say away from potassium and potassium supplements (my ND gave me a supplelemt) but yet everything related to high blood pressure says lifestyle changes? very confused!
