My Doc Diagnosed Endemic Typhus (Texas) Based On Abnormal C-reactive

My doc diagnosed endemic typhus (Texas) based on abnormal C-reactive protein, abnormal erythrocytes sed rate, extremely elevated alkaline phosphate (over 600) with no smptoms of liver disease, and night sweats with fever to 101, total body aching, hypersomnia, and significant brain fog. After 3 wks on doxycycline I was no longer having fever but then had episode of blood pressure spike that woke me with trembling, increased heart rate but body temp normal. Alkaline phosphates now in low 170s. We will repeat all tests and probably f/u with referral to infectious disease specialist. Your thoughts?
