My daughter went off mircette 7 weeks ago at age 40 due to high blood pressure ( never had this before), and now has anxiety( never had before) and sleeplessness. The blood pressure is up and down and her pulse goes up with anxiety over 100. History of autoimmune thyroiditis in family and other autoimmune diseases. Is this common with Mircette? In process of checking her thyroid panel other labs. Concerned. Why would mircette cause thyroid dysfunction?
