My Daughter Is 26yrs Old And Had Her First Baby

My daughter is 26yrs old and had her first baby 7 weeks ago. She came down with flu symptoms that include nausea & fever. first 24 hrs she treated the fever with Tylenol since it was 100.8. She was able to keep the fever down with Tylenol over the last 36 hrs. Her nausea didn't result in vomiting until about 36 hours when she started dry heaving. She has done a good job of staying hydrated with sips of water and ice chips as she is still breast feeding her baby. She slept off and on today and just now (48 hrs into it) has a 101.9 fever.
Question #1 is this the typical flu going around? #2 is she in jeopardy of her breast milk drying up? Thanks
